Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are securely and evenly tied to achieve a comfortable, locked-down fit. Experiment with different lacing patterns if you experience pressure points.
- Breaking In: Like all new football boots, these require a break-in period. Wear them for a few shorter sessions or light training before a full match to allow the materials to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are MultiGround (FG/MG), meaning they are compatible with:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm or slightly damp.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
They are not recommended for extremely soft, muddy natural grass (where Soft Ground/SG studs are needed) or very abrasive, older generation artificial turf.
Care Instructions
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Clean After Each Use: Immediately after playing, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt, mud, and grass. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
- Remove Insole: If insoles are removable, take them out to air dry separately to prevent odor and moisture buildup.
- Air Dry: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hair dryers, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Avoid Submerging: Do not machine wash or fully submerge the boots in water.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing with newspaper to maintain their shape.
