Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longest lifespan for your Brooks Glycerin GTS 23, consider the following:
- Break-in: While comfortable out of the box, perform a few shorter runs to allow the midsole foam to settle to your specific foot pressure points.
- Surface Suitability: Stick to paved roads, asphalt, or concrete paths to maintain the integrity of the outsole traction pattern.
- Cleaning: Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Never submerge the shoes in water or place them in a washing machine, as this can degrade the internal adhesives and cushioning structure.
- Drying: Air dry only in a cool, shaded area. Direct sunlight and heat sources like radiators can cause the foam to warp or harden prematurely.
