These Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly X Academy SG Pro football boots are designed for adult players seeking enhanced speed and responsiveness on soft ground pitches. They offer superior energy return with Zoom Air cushioning and a lightweight soleplate for stability. A key benefit is the AntiClog technology, which prevents mud buildup, maintaining optimal performance. However, they are specifically designed for soft ground, limiting their versatility on other surfaces.

'SG Pro' indicates the boot is designed for Soft Ground pitches and features a professional stud configuration for optimal traction. 'Anti Clog' refers to technology that helps prevent mud from sticking to the soleplate.
No, these boots are specifically designed for soft, natural grass pitches. Using them on artificial grass can lead to poor performance, increased risk of injury, and damage to the boots.
The AntiClog technology works to repel mud naturally. After play, use a soft brush or damp cloth to remove any residual mud. Avoid harsh cleaning agents.
Zoom Air is a pressurized air unit embedded in the midsole that provides responsive cushioning. It offers a springy feel underfoot, enhancing energy return during explosive movements.
The NIKESKIN upper provides a lightweight, flexible, and comfortable fit that feels like a second skin. It also enhances ball control and feel, allowing for precise touches.
While they can be used, the SG Pro studs are optimized for soft, wet ground. On dry, firm pitches, they may offer excessive grip and could be less comfortable or stable compared to firm ground boots.
These boots are recommended for adult players who frequently play on soft, natural grass pitches and prioritize speed, responsiveness, and consistent performance even in wet conditions.
The NIKESKIN upper is designed to mold to your foot over time. Wear them for short periods initially, gradually increasing the duration. Ensure you have the correct UK size and consider the specific fit of the Mercurial series.
While AntiClog is effective, very thick, sticky mud can still adhere. After play, use a soft brush or damp cloth to remove any remaining mud from the soleplate and studs.
Ensure the SG Pro studs are appropriate for the specific pitch conditions. Check that no mud or debris is lodged between the studs. Clean the soleplate thoroughly.
These boots are optimized for soft ground. Using them on harder surfaces can lead to instability. It is recommended to use boots specifically designed for the pitch type you are playing on.
