The AntiClog technology is designed to prevent mud from sticking to the soleplate of the football boots, ensuring consistent traction and lighter feel even in very wet and muddy conditions.
No, these boots are specifically designed for soft ground (SG) pitches, which are typically natural grass surfaces that are wet or muddy. They are not recommended for artificial grass or firm ground.
The Zoom Air unit is a pressurized air pocket embedded in the midsole that provides responsive cushioning. It absorbs impact and then quickly returns to its original shape, giving you a springy feel and enhanced energy return.
Refer to the size chart provided by Nike or the retailer. These boots are listed in UK sizing. Ensure a snug fit; there should be no significant space at the toe.
Clean with a soft brush or damp cloth after use. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat. Avoid machine washing or harsh chemicals.
SGPro stands for Soft Ground Professional. It indicates that the boots are equipped with studs specifically designed for optimal performance and traction on soft, natural grass pitches, often including a mixture of screw-in and fixed studs for versatility.
The SGPro configuration often includes some replaceable studs for customized traction. Consult the product details or a professional sports store for information on compatible replacement studs.
Wear the boots for short periods initially to allow them to break in. Ensure laces are adjusted correctly for a snug but not constricting fit. Consider using thicker socks during the break-in period.
Clean the soleplate thoroughly to ensure the AntiClog technology is free of debris. Check that the studs are not excessively worn. Ensure you are playing on an appropriate soft ground surface.
While AntiClog reduces buildup, extreme mud conditions may still see some accumulation. Ensure you clean the soleplate thoroughly after each use. The technology is designed to minimize, not eliminate, mud adhesion.
Inspect studs for any signs of damage. If studs are loose, it may indicate a manufacturing defect. Contact customer support with your proof of purchase.
Setup: These boots are ready to wear out of the box. Ensure they fit snugly without being uncomfortably tight. The lacing system allows for adjustment to achieve a personalized fit.
Compatibility: The SGPro stud configuration is optimized for soft, natural grass pitches. Use on artificial turf or firm ground may result in excessive wear or discomfort. Always check pitch regulations if playing in a league.
Care: After each use, especially on wet or muddy ground:
