Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material. For non-porous surfaces like metal or glass, a primer may enhance adhesion. For wood, ensure it is sanded and free of old finishes if necessary.
- Environment: Use in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity. Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths.
- Shake Can: Shake the spray can vigorously for at least 2 minutes after the mixing ball begins to rattle. This ensures proper pigment dispersion.
Compatibility:
MaxiColor Spray Gloss is compatible with treated and untreated wood, metal, aluminium, glass, stone, and most plastics. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first, especially on plastics, to confirm adhesion and avoid material damage.
Care:
- Allow the paint to cure fully before exposing it to heavy use or harsh cleaning.
- Clean painted surfaces gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the gloss finish.
