Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from loose paint, rust, or grease. Use sandpaper to smooth the surface if necessary.
- Masking: Protect any areas you don't want to paint with masking tape and paper.
- Shake Well: Shake the can vigorously for at least one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle.
- Test Spray: Before applying to the final surface, test spray on a piece of cardboard to check the color and spray pattern.
Compatibility
MaxiColor Spray Gloss is compatible with a wide range of materials including wood, metal, aluminium, glass, stone, and plastic. However, it's recommended to test on a small, inconspicuous area first, especially on plastics, to ensure compatibility and adhesion.
Care
Once the paint is dry, the surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the finish. For outdoor applications, regular cleaning can help maintain the appearance and extend the life of the paint.
