Setup, Compatibility & Care
These boots require no specific setup beyond ensuring they fit correctly for optimal comfort and safety. They are designed for compatibility with standard work clothing. To care for your Dunlop FoodPro Purofort boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, rinse the boots thoroughly with water. Use a mild soap or detergent and a soft brush to remove any stubborn dirt or residue from the smooth surface and shaft. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the PU material.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry completely at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources such as radiators or fires, as this can cause the material to crack or deform.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure they are stored upright or on their sides to maintain their shape.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the boots for any signs of wear and tear, such as cracks, splits, or damage to the sole or toecap. Replace the boots if significant damage is found to ensure continued protection.
