The Regatta Lofthouse Padded Jacket is a reliable, high-performance outerwear solution for active children, designed to provide consistent warmth and protection during cooler weather. It features a water-repellent finish, insulating padding, and reflective details, making it an excellent choice for daily school commutes and outdoor play. While it excels in utility and safety, the jacket is strictly intended for light to moderate weather conditions and is not a heavy-duty waterproof coat for extreme storms.

It features a water-repellent finish, which is effective against light rain and snow, but it is not fully waterproof.
No, the hood is a grown-on style, meaning it is permanently attached to the jacket for maximum protection against the elements.
Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean.
It provides great warmth for mild to moderate winter conditions, though it may need additional layers for freezing temperatures.
The reflective trims are integrated to be durable, but it is recommended to wash the jacket inside out to keep them in peak condition.
The water-repellent finish may have worn off; consider using a technical garment re-proofer spray.
Tumble dry on a very low heat setting with a clean tennis ball to help re-fluff the insulation.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and clean the track with a dry cloth to remove dirt or debris.
To keep the jacket in optimal condition, always follow the care label located inside the garment. Since the jacket uses specialized polyester insulation, it is best to machine wash on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can compromise the water-repellent finish of the outer shell. Air drying is highly recommended to maintain the integrity of the padding. When storing, ensure the jacket is completely dry to prevent damp smells or fabric degradation.
