Yes, it can be machine washed on a cool, gentle cycle.
The jacket is water-repellent, meaning it handles light rain well, but it is not seam-sealed or waterproof for heavy downpours.
The 9-10 size is designed to fit children aged between nine and ten years old, depending on their individual height and build.
It is recommended to air dry the jacket. High heat from a tumble dryer may damage the insulating padding and the water-repellent finish.
No, this model features two external zipped lower pockets.
No, the fleece-lined hood is integrated into the design of the jacket.
The DWR coating has likely worn off. Wash the garment and apply a store-bought re-proofing spray intended for outdoor jackets.
Check for fabric caught in the teeth. If clean, gently rub the zipper teeth with a pencil lead (graphite) to provide lubrication.
To keep the Rover Padded Jacket in peak condition, machine wash it on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the water-repellent coating from the polyester fabric over time. If the water-repellent properties seem to diminish, a specialized DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray can be applied after washing. Always hang the jacket to air dry rather than using a high-heat tumble dryer, as extreme heat can damage the synthetic insulation. Ensure the zippers are closed before washing to prevent snagging on other items in the machine.
