These trainers are designed for light trail running and everyday versatility; for long-distance road marathons, specialized performance running models are recommended.
Spot clean them immediately after they get dirty using a mild detergent and a damp cloth to prevent stains from setting into the mesh.
It is generally not recommended to machine wash performance footwear as it can damage the glues and cushioning; hand cleaning is the safest method.
The trainers feature a breathable mesh upper, which is not water-resistant, so they are best suited for dry or mild weather conditions.
New Balance typically offers a consistent fit, but we recommend measuring your feet and comparing them to the official size guide if you are between sizes.
Ensure your laces are properly tightened across the midfoot to secure your heel and arch.
Gently tap the shoes against each other or use a dry, soft-bristled brush to clear out debris after drying.
To ensure your New Balance Tektrel trainers last, start by adjusting the lace tension to your preferred lockdown level. For cleaning, remove loose dirt from the outsole with a soft brush after every trail outing. To clean the mesh upper, use a mild detergent mixed with water and a soft cloth, then air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent material damage or warping. Store in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the cushioning material.
