The New Balance Tektrel V1 is a high-performance trail running shoe designed for adult female runners looking to transition from pavement to rugged off-road environments. Offering excellent traction and a stable fit for technical paths and muddy routes, these trainers provide the confidence needed for varied terrain, though users should note they are specifically optimized for off-road durability rather than soft-surface road racing.

The New Balance Tektrel V1 is designed for trail breathability and does not feature a waterproof membrane.
While wearable on roads, the outsole is optimized for off-road traction and will wear down faster on abrasive concrete or asphalt.
The Tektrel V1 follows standard New Balance sizing. We recommend selecting your usual UK running shoe size.
Wipe off excess mud, then use a damp cloth with mild detergent to spot clean the upper.
The fit is engineered for technical stability. If you have wider feet, you may want to try them on to ensure the lockdown feel is comfortable for you.
Adjust the lacing using the top eyelet to create a 'heel lock' to increase security.
Tap the soles together once the mud has dried or use a soft-bristled brush to clear the lugs.
To ensure the best fit, verify your UK size using New Balance standard sizing; these shoes are designed for a performance-focused, secure feel. Since the Tektrel V1 features a bright white colorway, it is recommended to clean them after each muddy excursion to maintain material integrity. Use a soft brush and mild soap to remove debris from the lugs immediately after a run. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the cushioning materials over time.
