Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance from your New Balance Tektrel trainers, start by adjusting the lace-up closure to match your foot volume, ensuring the midfoot feels locked in without restricting circulation. Because these are trail shoes, regular care is essential to maintain the traction of the outsole. After muddy or dusty runs, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried debris from the tread and upper mesh. If the shoes become very dirty, clean them by hand using a mild detergent and lukewarm water; avoid placing them in a washing machine or dryer, as the heat and agitation can damage the structural overlays and cushioning foam. Air dry them in a well-ventilated area, away from direct heat sources like radiators.
