Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces, insert your foot, and then tighten them starting from the toe box upwards, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit. Double-knot for security.
- Initial Wear: Wear the boots for short periods during training sessions to allow the K-leather to gradually mold to your foot shape. This 'break-in' period helps achieve the optimal `glove-like fit`.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for soft and very soft natural grounds. The `screw-in studs` excel in muddy or wet conditions. They are not recommended for use on firm ground, artificial turf, or indoor surfaces, as this can damage the studs and outsole, and compromise grip.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, clean the boots thoroughly. Remove excess mud and dirt with a soft brush or cloth. Use a specialized leather cleaner for K-leather, followed by a leather conditioner to maintain the leather's suppleness and prevent cracking.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, which can dry out and damage the leather. The `quick-drying synthetic lining` assists in internal drying.
- Stud Maintenance: Regularly check that all `screw-in studs` are securely tightened. Loose studs can affect performance and potentially get lost. Keep spare studs on hand for replacements if any become worn or damaged.
