The Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite AG Pro Low is engineered for male adult football players who demand elite performance and superior traction specifically on artificial grass (AG) surfaces. Its key advantage lies in its specialized AG Pro soleplate, offering optimal grip and responsiveness, though users should note it is purpose-built for AG and may not perform ideally on other pitch types. Featuring a classic lacing closure, round toe, and flat heel, this boot focuses on delivering a secure fit and stable platform for dynamic play.

'AG Pro' stands for Artificial Grass Professional. It signifies that the boot's soleplate and stud configuration are specifically engineered for optimal performance, traction, and durability on artificial turf pitches.
No, it is strongly recommended not to use AG Pro boots on natural grass (Firm Ground or Soft Ground). The AG stud pattern is not suitable for natural surfaces and can lead to instability, reduced performance, potential injury, and accelerated wear of the boots.
After each use, remove loose dirt by tapping the boots together. Wipe the soleplate and upper with a damp cloth, optionally using a mild soap for stubborn dirt. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Air dry them in a cool, ventilated area away from direct heat.
Wear your new boots for several short sessions (e.g., 30-60 minutes) during light training or walking, rather than immediately in a full match. This allows the materials to soften and mold to your foot shape gradually, reducing the risk of discomfort or blisters.
Info needed: [Specific fit characteristics, e.g., 'These boots tend to have a standard to narrow fit.']. It is always best to try them on to assess the fit for your specific foot shape, especially for wider feet. Look for boots that provide a snug but comfortable feel without excessive pressure points.
The lifespan of football boots varies greatly depending on usage frequency, pitch type, playing style, and care. With proper care and exclusive use on artificial grass, elite-level boots can last a full season or longer. Misuse on incorrect surfaces will significantly shorten their lifespan.
Football boots are generally designed to be water-resistant to protect against light moisture and dew. However, they are not completely waterproof, and prolonged exposure to heavy rain or wet conditions will eventually lead to water penetration. Proper drying after wet use is crucial.
Ensure the boots are used exclusively on well-maintained artificial grass pitches. Check the soleplate for excessive wear or damage to the studs. Regularly clean the studs to prevent build-up that could reduce grip.
Verify you have the correct size and width. Ensure laces are tied securely but not overly tight. Allow for a proper break-in period. Wear high-quality football socks designed to prevent friction and provide cushioning.
Confirm you are only using the boots on artificial grass surfaces. Using AG Pro boots on natural grass or abrasive surfaces like concrete will accelerate stud wear. Clean the soleplate regularly to inspect for damage.
Thoroughly air dry the boots after every use, preferably in a well-ventilated area. Remove insoles to dry separately. Consider using boot deodorizers or placing baking soda inside overnight to absorb moisture and neutralize smells.
