Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced securely but not overly tight. Use the lacing system to achieve a snug fit around your midfoot, allowing the Gripknit upper to adapt to your foot shape.
- Break-in: Like all high-performance footwear, these boots may benefit from a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions before competitive matches to allow the materials to conform to your feet.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Artificial Ground (AG) pitches. The specialized stud configuration is optimized for synthetic turf surfaces. Using them on natural grass (FG) or firm ground (FG) can lead to accelerated wear and tear on both the boots and the pitch, and may compromise your traction and safety. Always confirm the playing surface before use.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them during transport.
- Inspection: Regularly check for any signs of wear, particularly on the studs and upper, to ensure continued performance and safety.
