Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Begin lacing from the lowest eyelets, ensuring even tension across your foot. Pull the laces firmly but comfortably through each eyelet, working your way up. Finish with a double knot to prevent loosening during play. A well-laced boot should feel snug, not restrictive, ensuring your foot is secure without excessive pressure points.
- Break-In: As with any new football boot, allow for a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or warm-ups before a full match to let the materials conform to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed with an AG-Pro (Artificial Grass Pro) outsole, making them ideal for modern artificial turf pitches. They are not optimized for natural grass (firm ground, soft ground) or indoor surfaces. Using them on inappropriate surfaces may lead to suboptimal performance, accelerated wear, or potential injury.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on artificial pitches, wipe off any mud, rubber crumb, or debris using a damp cloth. For more stubborn dirt, a soft brush and mild soap (like diluted dish soap) can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the materials.
- Drying: Always allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them on direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can cause materials to crack, shrink, or lose their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Consider using shoe trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape and absorb any residual moisture.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the studs for wear or damage. Replace boots if the studs are excessively worn, as this can compromise grip and performance.
