These cleats are specifically engineered for use on Artificial Grass (AG) pitches. Their stud configuration provides optimal traction and performance on synthetic turf.
No, it is not recommended to use AG Pro cleats on natural grass (Firm Ground or Soft Ground) fields. The stud design is optimized for artificial turf and may not provide adequate grip or could damage the cleats and field on natural grass.
After each use, brush off loose dirt and wipe the cleats with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry them completely in a cool, ventilated area away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not machine wash or dry.
Mercurial series cleats, including the Vapor 16 Elite, are generally known for a more streamlined, snug fit. While lacing allows for some adjustment, they might feel tight for players with very wide feet. Info needed: [Specific Nike guidance on fit for wide feet].
AG Pro cleats have a stud pattern designed for artificial grass, typically with more, shorter, and often hollow conical studs to prevent turf buildup and provide multi-directional traction. FG cleats have fewer, longer studs optimized for natural grass fields to penetrate the ground.
The lifespan of soccer cleats varies greatly depending on usage frequency, playing surface, player style, and care. With proper care and exclusive use on artificial grass, elite-level cleats can last one to two seasons for regular players, but heavy use or improper care can shorten this.
Yes, it is highly recommended to break in new cleats to allow the materials to mold to your foot shape. Wear them for short periods during practice before using them in competitive matches to avoid discomfort or blisters.
Ensure you have broken them in properly by wearing them for short periods. Try adjusting the lacing pattern to relieve pressure points, or experiment with different thickness of socks. If discomfort persists, consider if the size is appropriate for your foot.
Always tie a double knot to secure your laces. You can also try different lacing techniques that provide a tighter, more secure fit, such as 'lock lacing' at the top eyelets.
Confirm you are playing on an artificial grass surface. These cleats are not designed for natural grass or indoor courts. Also, ensure the soleplate is clean and free from mud or debris that could hinder traction.
Thoroughly air out your cleats after every use in a well-ventilated area. Remove any insoles to allow them to dry separately. For stubborn odors, use athletic shoe deodorizers or place baking soda in socks inside the cleats overnight to absorb moisture and smell.
Ensure you are using the cleats exclusively on artificial grass as intended. Using them on harder surfaces like concrete or natural grass can accelerate wear. Clean them regularly to prevent abrasive dirt buildup from damaging materials.
