Mylands Millbank No.254 Multi-Surface Eggshell Paint is an ideal choice for homeowners and professionals looking to add a warm, sophisticated, and earthy tone to interior spaces. This rich brown paint, characterized by subtle hints of magenta, offers a durable, scuff-resistant finish suitable for woodwork and metal surfaces; however, users should note that the eggshell finish provides a soft sheen rather than a completely flat matte look.

Yes, its durable and scuff-resistant nature makes it an excellent choice for interior woodwork like kitchen cabinets.
No, this specific product is formulated for interior use only.
While it has excellent coverage, we recommend a primer on bare wood or metal for the most professional and long-lasting results.
Two coats are usually sufficient for a solid, even finish, depending on the color of the underlying surface.
Yes, once fully cured, the eggshell finish is washable with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
This product features an eggshell finish, which offers a soft, low-lustre sheen.
Ensure you are using a high-quality synthetic brush and avoid over-working the paint; apply in smooth, long strokes.
Ensure the surface was properly cleaned and sanded if previously painted; apply a suitable primer before reapplying the eggshell finish.
Check humidity levels in the room; high humidity can significantly delay drying times.
To achieve the best results, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or grease before application. For bare surfaces, a suitable primer is recommended to ensure optimal adhesion. Use high-quality brushes or rollers suitable for water-based paints for a streak-free application. Allow adequate drying time between coats as specified by the product instructions. For care and maintenance, the washable nature of this paint means you can gently clean marks with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbing sponges, as these may damage the sheen of the eggshell finish.
