Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal performance, ensure the shoe is laced snugly but not too tightly across the bridge of the foot to allow for natural swelling during long hikes. If using gaiters, ensure they are compatible with the integrated mounting points to prevent damage to the upper material. For cleaning, remove loose mud or debris with a soft-bristled brush after each outing. If the shoes become heavily soiled, wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild, non-detergent soap. Always air-dry the shoes away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or direct sunlight, which can cause the midsole materials to break down prematurely or the adhesives to fail.
