Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your Puma King Match boots is straightforward:
- Unlacing: Fully loosen the `lace closure` to allow ample room for your foot.
- Slip-On: Gently slide your foot into the `low-cut slip-on design`, ensuring the `padded ankles` and heel sit comfortably.
- Lacing: Systematically tighten the laces from the bottom upwards, ensuring a snug fit across your foot without being too restrictive.
- Secure Knot: Tie the laces securely, preferably with a double knot, to prevent them from coming undone during play.
Compatibility
These boots are engineered for versatility across common football surfaces:
- Firm Ground (FG): Optimal performance on natural grass pitches that are firm but not excessively hard.
- Artificial Ground (AG): Suitable for modern artificial turf surfaces. The `conical studs` are designed to distribute pressure evenly and provide reliable grip.
Note: While versatile, these boots are not recommended for extremely soft, muddy pitches or indoor surfaces, which require specialized sole types.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off dirt and mud using a soft, damp cloth. For tougher stains, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Drying: If wet, allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Never expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the synthetic materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Consider using a boot bag for protection.
- Material Composition: Upper: `80.20% synthetic, 19.80% textile`. Lining: `100% synthetic`. Sockliner: `100% textile`. Outsole: `100% synthetic`.
