Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Utilize the streamlined lacing system to achieve a snug, personalized fit. Start lacing from the bottom eyelets, pulling evenly to secure your foot without excessive pressure. The low-profile tongue is designed to lay flat for comfort.
- Break-In: Like most new football boots, a short break-in period is recommended. Wear them for light training sessions or casual use before competitive matches to allow the materials to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots feature an FG/AG soleplate, meaning they are designed for optimal performance on:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and relatively dry.
- Artificial Ground (AG): Modern synthetic turf pitches. Avoid using on older 1G or 2G artificial pitches as this can cause premature wear on the studs.
Do not use these boots on indoor courts, concrete, or extremely hard surfaces, as this can damage the soleplate and compromise performance.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. For more stubborn grime, use a mild soap solution and a soft sponge. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources (like radiators or hairdryers), as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, to protect them from dust and physical damage. Inserting newspaper or shoe trees can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect studs for wear and tear. While not replaceable on this model, monitoring their condition helps you know when it might be time for a new pair.
