Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced securely but not overly tight. Start from the bottom eyelets and work your way up, pulling gently to achieve a snug fit around your foot.
- Break-In Period: Like most new football boots, a short break-in period is recommended. Wear them for a few light training sessions before a full match to allow them to conform to your foot's shape and maximize comfort.
Compatibility
These boots feature a multi-ground (FG/MG) outsole, making them suitable for:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and relatively dry.
- Artificial Ground (AG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
Do not use these boots on soft ground (SG) pitches, as the studs are not designed for muddy or wet conditions and could lead to poor traction or boot damage. Avoid using them on hard indoor surfaces or abrasive street surfaces, as this will significantly wear down the outsole and studs.
Care
Proper care extends the life and maintains the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after each session, wipe off dirt and mud using a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or other heat sources, as excessive heat can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Product Label: Always refer to the internal product label for any specific care instructions provided by adidas. This label contains the most accurate and detailed guidelines for your specific model.
