Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the lace closure fully. Insert your foot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back of the boot.
- Fit Adjustment: Tighten the laces evenly from bottom to top, ensuring a snug but not overly restrictive fit. The regular fit is designed to accommodate most foot shapes. Use the flat laces to achieve a secure hold that minimizes movement inside the boot without creating pressure points.
- Break-in Period: Like all new football boots, a short break-in period is recommended to allow the Fusionfeel textured synthetic upper to mold to your foot shape for optimal comfort and performance. Wear them for short training sessions initially.
Compatibility
These boots feature the Comfortplate soleplate and are specifically designed for optimal performance on two primary surfaces:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry and firm.
- Artificial Grass (AG) / Multi-Ground (MG): Modern synthetic turf surfaces.
They are not recommended for use on soft, muddy natural grass pitches, as the stud configuration is not suited for such conditions.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush. Wipe down the synthetic Fusionfeel upper with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled paper inside to help maintain their shape.
- Specific Care: Always refer to the specific care instructions on the product label for the most accurate guidelines regarding cleaning and maintenance.
