Setup, Compatibility & Care
To get the most out of your Cooks Professional set, follow these guidelines:
- Preheating: Always heat the pans slowly on a low-to-medium setting to prevent thermal shock, which can damage the enamel.
- Utensil Selection: Use wooden, silicone, or plastic utensils to protect the enamel interior from scratching.
- Cleaning: Allow the pans to cool completely before washing. Hand wash with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Avoid steel wool or abrasive scouring pads.
- Storage: Dry thoroughly immediately after washing to prevent rust on the exposed cast iron rim. If stacking the pans, use a soft cloth or pan protector between them to prevent chipping.
