Setup
- Preparation: Ensure skin is clean and dry. Consider applying a wetsuit lubricant or powder to areas prone to friction for easier donning.
- Legs First: Gather the wetsuit legs and carefully slide your feet through, pulling the suit up over your calves and thighs. Ensure there are no twists.
- Torso and Arms: Pull the suit up over your waist and torso. Insert one arm at a time, making sure the neoprene is flat against your skin and not bunched up.
- Secure Collar: Pull the collar over your head.
- Zip Up: Reach for the YKK back zip cord (or have someone assist) and pull it firmly upwards until fully closed. Secure any Velcro flap at the neck.
Compatibility
This wetsuit is highly compatible with a wide range of water sports, including but not limited to: surfing, bodyboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkeling, and general swimming in cooler waters. Its design focuses on providing warmth and protection for surface water activities.
Care
- Rinse Immediately: After each use, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh, cool water, both inside and out. This removes salt, chlorine, and sand.
- Avoid Hot Water: Do not use hot water for rinsing or washing, as it can damage the neoprene.
- Gentle Cleaning (If Needed): For deeper cleaning, use a wetsuit-specific shampoo or a mild soap. Gently hand wash, do not machine wash.
- Drying: Hang the wetsuit to dry on a wide hanger (never a wire hanger) in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight, which can degrade neoprene.
- Storage: Once completely dry, store the wetsuit flat or folded loosely in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging for long periods, as it can stretch the neoprene. Do not store folded tightly or crumpled.
