Setup, Compatibility & Care
Putting On Your Wetsuit
- Ensure your body and the wetsuit are relatively dry for easiest entry. If slightly damp, a plastic bag over hands and feet can help reduce friction.
- Start by putting your feet through the leg openings. Gently pull the wetsuit up your legs, ensuring the knee pads align with your knees.
- Pull the wetsuit up over your hips and torso. Make sure the material is flat and not bunched anywhere.
- Insert your arms one by one, guiding them through the sleeves. Adjust the shoulders for a comfortable fit.
- Reach back and pull the YKK zipper up fully. Secure the hook-and-loop closure at the neck to prevent the zipper from coming down.

Care and Maintenance
- Rinsing: After every use, thoroughly rinse your wetsuit inside and out with cool, fresh water. Do not use hot water, as it can damage the neoprene.
- Drying: Hang your wetsuit to dry on a wide hanger (not a wire hanger, which can crease the shoulders) in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight, as UV rays can degrade neoprene. Ensure it is completely dry before storing.
- Cleaning: For deeper cleaning, use a specialized wetsuit shampoo or a mild, non-detergent soap. Gently hand wash and rinse thoroughly.
- Storage: Store your wetsuit flat or loosely folded to prevent creases and damage to the neoprene. Avoid hanging it by the shoulders for prolonged periods if possible. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, bleach, machine washing, tumble drying, ironing, and prolonged exposure to petroleum-based products.
