Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Donning Your Wetsuit
- Inspect: Before putting on, check the wetsuit for any snags or tears.
- Unzip: Fully unzip the wetsuit and fold the top half down.
- Legs First: Gently guide one leg through, then the other, pulling the wetsuit up your calves and thighs. Avoid using fingernails directly on the neoprene.
- Torso & Arms: Once the legs are in place, pull the wetsuit up over your hips and torso. Next, guide your arms through one at a time.
- Adjust & Zip: Ensure the wetsuit is snug but not overly restrictive. Smooth out any wrinkles. Reach behind or ask for help to pull the zipper up completely. Ensure the neck flap (if present) is securely fastened.
Compatibility
This wetsuit is ideal for beginner to intermediate female surfers. It provides the necessary warmth and protection for learning and progressing in surfing, as well as general watersports in moderate conditions.
Care Instructions
- Rinse Immediately: After every use, rinse your wetsuit thoroughly with fresh, cool water, both inside and out. This removes salt, chlorine, sand, and other debris.
- Avoid Hot Water: Never use hot water, as it can damage the neoprene.
- Mild Soap Only: If cleaning is needed, use a wetsuit-specific cleaner or a very mild, non-detergent soap.
- Air Dry: Hang your wetsuit to dry on a wide hanger (never a thin wire hanger, which can crease the shoulders) in the shade, away from direct sunlight. Turn it inside out to dry the interior first, then flip it right side out.
- Storage: Store flat or folded gently, or on a wide hanger. Avoid prolonged compression or extreme temperatures.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach, strong detergents, or solvents.
- Do Not Machine Wash/Dry: Wetsuits are not machine washable or suitable for tumble drying.
