Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure your socks are pulled up correctly and any shin guards are in place.
- Putting On: Grasp the boot by the heel tab and use your other hand to guide your foot into the Dynamic Fit collar. The collar is designed to be snug; a slight wiggling motion may help.
- Lacing: Securely tie the laces. Ensure they are tight enough to provide a locked-down feel without causing discomfort or restricting circulation.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are best suited for natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG), hard ground (HG), or soft ground (SG) may damage the studs and compromise performance, stability, and durability.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Immediate Cleaning: After each use, remove excess mud and debris using a soft brush or cloth. Do not let mud dry on the boots.
- Wipe Down: Use a damp cloth with mild soap (if necessary) to gently wipe down the entire boot, including the upper and soleplate.
- Rinse (Optional): If very muddy, a light rinse with water (avoiding submerging) can be done, but ensure boots are dried thoroughly afterwards.
- Drying: Air dry the boots at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives. Stuffing with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag or box to protect them from dust and damage.
- Refer to Label: Always refer to the specific care instructions on the product label for any additional recommendations.
