Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first long excursion, wear these shoes around the house or on short walks to allow the leather to mold to your feet. Compatibility is standard; they are designed for standard hiking socks, though thicker wool socks are recommended for better moisture management.
Care instructions include:
- Cleaning: After use, remove loose mud using a soft brush and lukewarm water.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally. Never place them near direct heat sources like radiators, as this can crack and damage the leather.
- Maintenance: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to maintain the suppleness of the upper and keep the material water-resistant.
