Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first hike, ensure you wear the shoes for short walks to allow the leather to soften and conform to your foot shape. To maintain the waterproof integrity of the leather, clean the shoes after muddy walks using a soft brush and lukewarm water. Avoid using harsh detergents or direct heat sources like radiators, as these can crack the leather. It is recommended to apply a high-quality leather conditioner or waterproofing wax periodically to keep the material supple and water-repellent. Always air-dry at room temperature with the insoles removed to prevent moisture build-up.
