The HOKA Bondi 9 is designed for runners and walkers seeking maximum cushioning for everyday miles, offering a plush, resilient ride that minimizes impact. While it excels in comfort and stability, its increased stack height may feel too bulky for those who prefer a lightweight, ground-feel shoe. This overhaul features a premium super-critical foam midsole and a structured knit upper, making it an ideal choice for high-mileage training sessions where comfort is the primary priority.

The Bondi 9 is primarily designed for road running. While the rubber outsole provides grip, the high stack height is not optimized for the uneven surfaces and lateral instability of technical trails.
Yes, the internal volume and structured design of the Bondi 9 accommodate most aftermarket orthotics, though you should remove the factory-fitted insole first.
Generally, running shoes should be replaced every 300 to 500 miles, depending on your running surface and body weight.
No, the knit upper is designed for maximum breathability and will not keep your feet dry in rainy or wet conditions.
The Bondi 9 features a completely overhauled design with increased stack height and a new premium super-critical foam for a more responsive, plush ride.
Try the 'runner's loop' or 'heel lock' lacing technique to create a tighter seal around the ankle collar.
Super-critical foams often require a short break-in period of 20-30 miles to fully adapt to your personal foot strike and flexibility.
Use a gentle, dry brush to clear debris from the knitted vent zones after every run to maintain optimal breathability.
To get the most out of your Bondi 9s, ensure the traditional lacing system is adjusted to secure your midfoot without restricting circulation. The extended heel tab is designed for easy entry—use it to avoid crushing the back of the heel counter, which preserves the structural integrity of the 3D moulded collar. For cleaning, remove surface dirt with a soft brush and use a damp cloth with mild soap; avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can degrade the foam composition. Air dry in a shaded area away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the knit upper.
