Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Hoka Clifton 11 trainers, perform a proper initial fit check: ensure there is approximately a thumb-width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe. Because these are neutral trainers, they are compatible with most standard sock types, though moisture-wicking synthetic socks will enhance the breathability of the mesh upper. For care, avoid putting these shoes in a washing machine, as the heat and agitation can degrade the foam density. Instead, clean the mesh upper by spot-cleaning with a soft-bristled brush, mild soap, and cold water. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct sunlight or high-heat sources to maintain the integrity of the cushioning materials.
