The HOKA Bondi 9 is designed for adult runners and walkers seeking maximum cushioning and comfort for everyday training and long-distance miles. Featuring an overhauled design with increased stack height and a new super critical foam midsole, it provides a plush, responsive ride that adapts to your natural stride. While it offers industry-leading impact protection, its substantial profile may feel too bulky for those who prioritize a lightweight, minimalist racing shoe.

The HOKA Bondi 9 features a 5mm drop.
The available sizing includes EE width options for many variants, providing a wider fit for those who need extra space in the midfoot and forefoot.
It is recommended to hand wash your shoes with mild soap and cold water. Avoid the dryer, as high heat can degrade the cushioning foam.
The shoe weighs approximately 297g, which is impressive given the significant amount of cushioning provided.
The Bondi 9 is optimized for road and paved surfaces, where its Durabrasion rubber provides the best grip and longevity.
Utilize the extra eyelet at the top of the lacing system to perform a 'runner's loop' or heel lock lacing technique to secure the 3D molded collar.
The super critical foam may require a short break-in period of 20-30 miles to fully adapt to your foot strike pattern and become more responsive.
For the best fit, ensure you utilize the traditional lacing system to secure the midfoot properly, leveraging the extended heel tab for an easy entry. To maintain the structural integrity of the knit upper, avoid machine washing; instead, spot clean with a soft brush and mild soap. Air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources to prevent damage to the super critical foam. Ensure your socks are moisture-wicking to prevent friction against the structured upper during long sessions.
