Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
Simply lace up your Runfalcon 5 TR shoes securely. Ensure a snug fit that prevents your foot from sliding inside the shoe, but isn't overly tight or restrictive. Experiment with different lacing techniques if you experience pressure points.
Compatibility
- Terrain: Best suited for off-road trails, dirt paths, and varied natural surfaces. While they can handle short stretches of pavement, their primary design is for unpaved terrain.
- Weather: Ideal for dry to lightly wet conditions. The water-repellent feature provides protection against light rain and splashes, but they are not designed for submersion or heavy downpours.
- Fit: Features a 'regular fit', making them suitable for most foot types. Consider trying them on with your preferred running socks to ensure optimal comfort.
Care Instructions
Proper care extends the life and performance of your shoes:
- Cleaning: After a run, especially on muddy trails, knock off any loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a soft brush or cloth with mild soap and cold water. Avoid harsh detergents or hot water, as these can damage materials.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not put them in a dryer or expose them to direct heat sources, as this can cause materials to shrink or warp. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the outsole for embedded debris (small rocks, mud) and clean it to maintain optimal grip. Inspect laces for wear and replace if necessary.
