FAQs
Are these shoes zero-drop?
Yes, the Vapor Glove 7 features a zero-drop construction to provide a natural, level feel.
Can I use these for long-distance running?
While experienced barefoot runners may do so, it is recommended to build up distance gradually due to the lack of cushioning.
How do I determine the correct size?
The Vapor Glove 7 fits true to size. Consult the size guide for your specific region, keeping in mind the secure wrap of the burrito tongue.
Are these suitable for wet conditions?
The upper is highly breathable, meaning it is not waterproof and will let water in easily. They are best suited for dry conditions.
Can I machine wash the Vapor Glove 7?
We recommend hand washing. Machine washing can be too aggressive and may damage the adhesive or the integrity of the breathable upper.
Troubleshooting
Foot irritation or blistering during initial use
This is common when transitioning to barefoot shoes. Ensure a proper fit and limit wear time until your feet adapt to the increased ground feedback.
Tongue shifting during activity
The burrito-style tongue is designed to wrap the foot. Ensure you are pulling the lace section tight enough to lock the flap securely in place.
Outsole losing grip
Check the tread for debris or mud buildup. Clean the Vibram sole with a damp brush to restore traction.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Vapor Glove 7 shoes remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: If you are new to minimalist footwear, start by wearing them for short periods throughout the day to let your arches and calves adjust.
- Cleaning: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush after use. For deeper cleaning, hand wash with mild soap and cold water. Do not submerge them in heavy detergents.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or direct sunlight, which can warp the materials or damage the outsole.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup within the breathable fabric.
