Troubleshooting
Shoe feels too tight or uncomfortable
Ensure you have selected the correct UK size. If new to barefoot shoes, allow a gradual adaptation period. Wear for short durations initially and increase wear time as your feet adjust.
Traction is reduced on wet surfaces
While the Vibram® TC5+ outsole offers good traction, wet surfaces can always reduce grip. Clean the outsole of any debris. For critical traction needs on very wet surfaces, exercise caution.
Feet feel sore after initial wear
This is common for individuals new to minimalist footwear. Your foot muscles and tendons may be unaccustomed to the work. Gradually increase wear time and frequency to build strength and resilience.
Upper material seems less supportive than expected
The Vapor Glove 7 is designed for a minimalist feel. If you require more structured support, this model may not be suitable. Ensure the burrito-style tongue is positioned correctly for a snug fit.
