Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your Puma King Match boots is straightforward. The low-cut slip-on construction allows for easy entry. Simply slide your foot in, ensuring the padded collar and heel section are comfortably positioned. Then, tighten the lace closure to achieve your desired snugness and lockdown. Take a few steps to ensure a comfortable and secure fit before playing.
Compatibility
These boots are explicitly designed for Firm Ground (FG) and Artificial Ground (AG) surfaces. The conical stud pattern is optimized to provide traction and stability on natural grass pitches that are firm, as well as on modern synthetic turf pitches. Avoid using these boots on soft, muddy natural grass or very abrasive surfaces, as this can reduce performance and damage the studs.
Care
To ensure the longevity and performance of your Puma King Match boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove any excess dirt, mud, or artificial turf pellets from the upper and outsole. Use a soft brush or damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be applied, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials (Upper: 80.20% synthetic, 19.80% textile; Lining: 100% synthetic; Sockliner: 100% textile; Outsole: 100% synthetic) and cause them to crack or lose shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with newspaper stuffed inside to help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the studs and soleplate for wear or damage. Promptly address any issues to maintain optimal performance and safety.
