Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Trail Glove 8 shoes, follow these maintenance tips:
- Break-in Period: If you are new to zero-drop or minimalist shoes, start by wearing them for short walks before progressing to full runs to avoid strain on the Achilles tendon and calves.
- Cleaning: After muddy trail runs, remove the insoles and hand wash the shoes using mild soap and cool water. Use a soft brush to dislodge debris from the Vibram outsole lugs.
- Drying: Always air dry your shoes away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or fireplaces, which can warp the foam and compromise the adhesives.
- Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the materials.
