Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Trail Glove 8, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Break-in Period: If you are new to barefoot-style shoes, start with shorter walks before increasing to runs to allow your foot muscles to adapt.
- Cleaning: Remove excess dirt using a soft-bristled brush after each outing. For deep cleaning, use mild soap and cold water; avoid using a washing machine, as this can degrade the specialized materials.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes in a cool, shaded area. Keep them away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight to prevent the foam and adhesives from breaking down.
- Storage: Store in a well-ventilated space to prevent moisture buildup and odors.
