Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Trail Glove 8, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: If you are new to minimalist footwear, start with shorter walks or runs to allow your calves and feet to adapt to the reduced drop and cushioning.
- Cleaning: Hand wash using mild soap and cold water. Remove the insoles if possible and let them air dry away from direct heat sources to maintain material integrity.
- Storage: Keep your shoes in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in a hot car or direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can cause the foam to compress or the adhesives to degrade.
- Usage: These are specifically designed for trail surfaces; excessive use on abrasive asphalt or concrete may accelerate the wear of the specialized Vibram rubber lugs.
