Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your Sondico Blaze trainers is straightforward:
- Loosen Laces: Fully loosen the laces before putting the trainers on.
- Insert Foot: Slide your child's foot into the trainer, ensuring the heel sits comfortably at the back.
- Tighten Laces: Starting from the bottom eyelets, gradually tighten the laces evenly, pulling them snug but not too tight. Ensure the knitted ankle fits snugly around the ankle.
- Double Knot: Tie a double knot to prevent laces from coming undone during play.
Compatibility
These trainers are designed for astro turf surfaces only. The specific rubber outsole and lug pattern are optimized for artificial grass pitches. Using them on natural grass might result in reduced grip and potentially damage the outsole. They are also not recommended for indoor courts or hard concrete surfaces.
Care
Proper care extends the lifespan of the trainers:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For stubborn stains, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow the trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store the trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using shoe trees or stuffing them with newspaper to maintain their shape.
- Odour Control: If odours develop, remove insoles and air them out. Shoe deodorizers can also be used. `Info needed: Specific cleaning instructions for knitted parts.`
