Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your Sondico Blaze Trainers is straightforward:
- Unpack: Remove the trainers from their packaging.
- Lace Up: Fully unlace the trainers before putting them on for the first time. This ensures an easy entry.
- Put On: Slide your foot into the trainer, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back.
- Adjust Laces: Start lacing from the bottom, pulling each section taut but not too tight. Secure with a double knot for maximum hold during play.
Compatibility
These trainers are specifically designed for astro turf (artificial grass) surfaces. The unique moulded lug configuration provides optimal traction on these surfaces. They are not recommended for use on natural grass pitches, indoor courts, or hard ground, as this can lead to reduced performance and premature wear of the sole.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your trainers:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off any dirt or debris from the synthetic leather upper and rubber outsole using a damp cloth. For more stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic leather and adhesives.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, remove the insoles (if removable) and allow them to air dry separately. Baking soda can be sprinkled inside the trainers overnight to absorb odors.
- Storage: Store trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
