Setup and First Use
To begin, simply unlace the trainers, slide your child's foot into the shoe, and then lace them up. Ensure a snug but not overly tight fit, allowing for natural foot movement. The knitted ankle component should feel secure and supportive around the foot. We recommend a short break-in period during light activities to allow the trainers to conform to the foot.
Compatibility
These trainers are specifically designed and optimized for astro turf (artificial grass) playing surfaces. While they may be used on very short, dry natural grass, their performance will be significantly reduced on muddy, wet, or longer natural grass pitches. They are not suitable for indoor courts, hard ground, or street wear, as this can lead to premature wear of the specialized outsole.
Care and Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and hygiene of your Sondico Blaze trainers:
- Cleaning: After each use, gently brush off any loose dirt, mud, or debris from the outsole and upper. For more stubborn dirt, wipe the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth. A small amount of mild soap can be used if necessary, but rinse thoroughly.
- Drying: Always allow the trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid placing them near direct heat sources such as radiators, heaters, or in direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can damage the materials and cause cracking or shrinkage.
- Storage: Store the trainers in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. To help maintain their shape and absorb any residual moisture, consider stuffing them with newspaper or using shoe trees when not in use.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not machine wash or tumble dry these trainers, as this can cause irreversible damage to their construction and materials.
