Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Before wearing, ensure the laces are threaded correctly. When putting on, loosen the laces sufficiently to allow your foot to slide in comfortably.
- Fit Check: Once your foot is in, tighten the laces progressively from the toe upwards, ensuring a snug but not overly tight fit. The knitted ankle should feel supportive around your ankle.
- First Wear: For the first few uses, wear them during shorter play sessions to allow them to break in and conform to the shape of your child's foot.
Compatibility
These trainers are specifically designed for Astro Turf (artificial grass) surfaces. The sole pattern is engineered to provide optimal grip and prevent damage to these specific pitches. While they may be used on other surfaces in a pinch, their performance (traction, durability) will be significantly reduced on natural grass, indoor courts, or hard ground.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: After each use, especially if playing on wet or muddy astro turf, wipe the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For tougher stains, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Sole Maintenance: Use a stiff brush (like an old toothbrush) to clean dirt from between the moulded lugs on the rubber outsole. This maintains optimal traction.
- Drying: Always allow the trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them on direct heat sources like radiators, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives. Remove insoles if they become wet to speed up drying and prevent odors.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
