These trainers are specifically designed and optimized for use on Astro Turf (artificial grass) pitches, where their moulded lugs provide the best traction.
Wipe the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth after each use. For tougher dirt, use a mild soap solution. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.
The synthetic leather upper offers some resistance to light moisture, but these trainers are not fully waterproof. It's best to avoid heavy rain or standing water to maintain their condition and performance.
While technically possible, these trainers are not designed for natural grass. The outsole's lug pattern will not provide optimal grip on natural grass, potentially leading to reduced performance and increased risk of slipping.
Ensure your child tries them on with the type of socks they typically wear for sports. The fit should be snug but comfortable, with enough room for toes to wiggle slightly. The knitted ankle should feel supportive without being restrictive.
The upper is made from durable synthetic leather, which features a quilted effect and embossed details to enhance ball control.
Synthetic leather generally retains its shape well. While they will 'break-in' and adapt slightly to your child's foot for increased comfort, significant stretching is unlikely compared to natural leather.
Ensure the outsole is clean and free of mud or debris. Check for excessive wear on the moulded lugs. Make sure laces are securely tied to prevent foot slippage within the shoe.
Verify the correct size; trainers should be snug but not tight. Allow for a short break-in period for the materials to conform to the foot. Ensure you are wearing appropriate sports socks that provide cushioning and reduce friction.
Adjust the lacing to find a comfortable tension. The synthetic leather upper and knitted ankle may require a few play sessions to soften and adapt to the foot's shape. Consider wearing them for shorter periods initially.
These trainers are specifically designed for Astro Turf (artificial grass) surfaces. While they might be used sparingly on other artificial surfaces like 3G or 4G pitches, their lug pattern is optimized for the shorter, more abrasive fibres of traditional Astro Turf. They are not recommended for natural grass pitches, as the outsole may not provide adequate grip and could wear down prematurely.
