Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Sizing: Ensure the trainers are the correct size for your child's foot. They should feel snug, especially around the knitted ankle, but not uncomfortably tight.
- Lacing: Lace them up securely, making sure the foot is well-supported.
Compatibility:
These trainers are specifically designed for astro turf (artificial grass) surfaces. While they might offer some grip on very short, dry natural grass, their performance will be significantly reduced, and they are not suitable for firm ground, soft ground, or indoor court surfaces.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Use a brush (an old toothbrush works well) to clean any mud or artificial turf infill from the moulded lugs on the outsole.
- Drying: Allow the trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
