Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces sufficiently to allow your child's foot to slide in comfortably.
- Foot Placement: Ensure the foot is seated correctly, with the heel snug against the back of the trainer.
- Tighten Laces: Starting from the bottom, tighten the laces evenly. Avoid overtightening, which can restrict circulation, or leaving them too loose, which can cause instability.
- Knot: Tie the laces securely in a double knot to prevent them from coming undone during play.
Compatibility
These trainers are specifically designed for astro turf (artificial grass) surfaces. While they can be worn on other surfaces, their performance (especially traction) may be compromised. They are not recommended for natural grass pitches as the lug pattern is not optimized for soft ground, and may offer insufficient grip.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the synthetic leather upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. For the outsole, use a brush to clear any debris lodged between the moulded lugs.
- Drying: Allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles periodically to air them out. Using shoe deodorizers or stuffing trainers with newspaper can help absorb moisture and reduce odors.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
