Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Before wearing, ensure laces are threaded correctly and evenly. Lace the boots firmly but comfortably, ensuring your foot feels secure without excessive pressure. Adjust during play if needed for optimal comfort and support.
- Break-in Period: Like most football boots, these may benefit from a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions before competitive matches to allow the material to conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots feature a Firm/Multi-Ground (FG/MG) outsole. This makes them suitable for:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and dry.
- Multi-Ground (MG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
They are not recommended for extremely soft, muddy natural grass pitches (where Soft Ground (SG) studs would be more appropriate) or hard indoor court surfaces.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After every use, gently brush off any loose dirt or grass from the upper and soleplate. For stubborn dirt, wipe the boots clean with a damp cloth.
- Drying: Do not force dry your boots using direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, hairdryers) as this can damage the synthetic materials. Instead, air dry them naturally at room temperature, ideally stuffed with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing them in plastic bags as this can trap moisture and lead to odor or material degradation.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, remove insoles (if removable) and air them out. Shoe deodorizers can also be used.
