Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Before your first use, fully unlace the boots, insert your foot, and then systematically lace them up, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit from toe to ankle. This helps in breaking them in and molding them to your foot shape.
- Break-in Period: Like all football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Start with shorter training sessions before using them in a full match to allow the materials to adapt to your foot.
Compatibility
- Pitch Types: These boots feature a Firm/Multi-Ground (FG/MG) outsole, making them highly compatible with firm natural grass pitches and modern artificial turf (AG) surfaces. Avoid using them on extremely soft, muddy, or icy natural grass, as they are not designed for those conditions.
- Age Group: Designed for adult players.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Each Use: Immediately after play, remove excess mud and dirt from the upper and soleplate using a soft brush or cloth. For stubborn dirt, a damp cloth with mild soap can be used.
- Stud Cleaning: Ensure all mud is removed from between the studs to maintain optimal traction. A small brush or even a stick can be helpful.
- Drying: Never dry your boots with direct heat (e.g., radiators, hair dryers), as this can damage the synthetic materials. Instead, air dry them at room temperature. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A boot bag can help protect them during transport.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong detergents, bleach, or solvents, as these can degrade the synthetic upper and adhesives.
