Ensure the gas supply is turned on. Check if the burner cap and crown are correctly seated and clean. Obstructions from spills can prevent ignition. Use a small brush to clear any debris.

Verify that the cooker is properly connected to the electrical supply and the oven function and temperature settings are correct. Ensure the oven door is fully closed. For uneven heating, make sure the oven is preheated thoroughly and avoid overloading it, which can restrict air circulation. Try rotating dishes halfway through cooking.

Immediately turn off the gas supply to the cooker. Open windows and doors to ventilate the area. Do not operate any electrical switches or open flames. Contact a qualified gas safe engineer or your gas supplier immediately.

Ensure the area around the knobs is clean and free from food debris or grease. If the issue persists, do not force the knobs; contact a service technician for inspection, as internal components might need attention.

Check the main electrical supply to the cooker. A power interruption might reset or temporarily disable the display. If the issue continues after checking power, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
